About Me
Queens-born but Brooklyn-bred, I grew up surrounded by the awe and story-filled landscape that was a pre-gentrified New York. As a member of a select club who remembers what a stoop sale is and as the son of first-generation parents, I bore witness to thousands of people, places, and cultures blending on the canvas of New York City.
Inspired by my hometown, I love fiction based on the stories we live through but never have the time to tell. My work explores multiculturalism, the American immigrant experience, and the struggles of modern life in the United States and elsewhere.
As a copywriter, content creator, and editor, I focus on clear, concise, and engaging pieces. My work draws in audiences and convinces them to engage with content creators, universities, or brands. I've done everything from writing scripts to captivate the minds of millions on YouTube to delivering articles that help individuals understand the value of continuing their education.

Awards and Honors
Though just a young writer, I am the proud recipient of numerous grants, prizes, and scholarships. Duke University’s history department awarded me a $5,000 research grant to visit Peru and forge the basis of my senior honors thesis. In 2016 and 2017, I won back-to-back William Blackburn Memorial Scholarships and was the only Creative Writing senior honors thesis to receive the highest distinction in my graduating class. My short fiction also found recognition, as I was awarded the Reynolds Price Award for Fiction for my piece “Off-Duty.” The Fulbright Foundation awarded me a two-year grant to live and teach in Taiwan, further assisting with my fiction. I currently reside in New York and continue writing at the highest level.
